"BCA China Care Lunar New Year Festival" Rescheduled to Saturday, February 4, 2012
On Saturday, January 21, 2012, there is to be an accumulation of 4 to 7 inches of snow starting from Friday evening to Saturday afternoon. Due to this inclement weather, BCA China Care's Lunar New Year Festival has been postponed to Saturday, February 4, 2012. Please RSVP for this new date by clicking here. We hope to see you there!

"BCA China Care Lunar New Year Festival" on January 21, 2012
We hope everyone had a wonderful holiday break and a very Happy New Year. This year, we will kick off with the annual Lunar New Year Festival on January 21, 2012 from 11AM-2PM, in celebration of the Year of the Dragon. There will be food, games, crafts, and many performances, including Lion Dancing, Martial Arts and more! If you are attending, please RSVP by clicking here. We hope to see you there!

"BCA China Care Awarded for Outstanding Community Service: Playgroup Program" on June 2, 2011
Just recently, the China Care Foundation awarded Bergen County Academies China Care for having an outstanding Dumplings playgroup program. We thank all who made it possible to keep Dumplings up and running, whether by donating or volunteering. Click here for more information. "BCA China Care's Lunar New Year Festival A Success!" on February 20, 2011
Yesterday, BCA China Care held its annual Lunar New Year Festival. There were numerous fun activity booths, delicious food, and fantastic performances. The proceeds will help fund a surgery for a little boy named Chun, who has Spina Bifida. We thank all the volunteers who made the festival possible and successful, and all the families who attended the festival. We hope you had fun and look forward to seeing you at our next dumplings session on March 19th!

"BCA China Care's Annual Lunar New Year Festival This Coming Saturday!" on February 13, 2011
Next Saturday, BCA China Care will be hosting its annual Lunar New Year Festival. There will be activities, crafts, food, and music! All proceeds will go to the China Care Foundation. Not only will you have fun and eat great food, but you will also help save the life of a Chinese orphan. We hope to see you there!

"First Dumplings of 2010-2011 A Success!" on October 19, 2010
This past Saturday, BCA China Care held its first dumplings playgroup of the 2010-2011 school year! The children made traditional chinese headdresses and learned about the Chinese Ghost Festival and Imperial China. This was topped off with story time and Chinese snacks. We thank everyone for their participation and cooperation that made this so enjoyable for everybody. We look forward to seeing you guys again at our next dumplings playgroup!

"Welcome Back!" on October 3, 2010
Now that the school year is one month in, Dumplings playgroups will resume soon. The next scheduled playgroup will be held on October 16, 2010 and it will feature the Chinese Ghost Festival. So mark your calendars and don't miss it! Also, the dates for this year's Dumplings playgroups are all posted on the Dumplings page. Just access it by clicking the Dumplings tab above. We hope to see you all at the next Dumplings playgroup on October 16th!

"Academy Idol Another Success!" on April 23, 2010
Today, BCA China Care hosted its annual Academy Idol held at the Bergen County Academies at 6:00PM. From this event, $1,400 was raised! Thank you to all the volunteers, the singers, our advisor (Mr. Samarakone), the teacher panel, and everyone who attended!
Also, don't forget that we have our monthly dumplings playgroup tomorrow! We hope to see you all there!

"Spring Festival A Success!" on March 23, 2010
This past Saturday, BCA China Care held its annual Spring Festival. We would like to thank everyone for their participation in this successful event, which helped raise $410. This money will be donated to the Beijing Children's Home for orphans with special medical needs. Again, we hope everyone had fun and look forward to seeing you soon at our next dumplings playgroup!

Help China Care win $100,000 or possibly $1 million by simply voting for China Care on the Chase Community Giving contest on Facebook. China Care has already made it past the first round. "First Dumplings Playgroup of 2009-2010 A Success!" on October 17, 2009
Today, BCA China Care held its first dumplings playgroup of the 2009-2010 school year! With a variety activities ranging from abacus-making to a classic game of duck-duck-goose and a delicious array of food, today's playgroup was a success. We thank everyone for their participation and cooperation. We hope everyone had fun and we look foward to seeing you at our next playgroup (TBA).
Also, best wishes to Kevin Mu, former president of BCA China Care, who has started his college career at Princeton University this year.

"Benefit Festival Announcement" on Jan. 28, 2009
BCA China Care is pleased to announce that we will be holding our first annual benefit lunch on Saturday, February 7 from 11:30am to 2:00pm. Food is being provided from the Grand Buffet at 875 State Rt 17 # 12 in Ramsey, NJ.
All proceeds will go to an orphan who was abandoned in Shanxi province. He is a 4-year-old boy who has spina bifida and a deformed right foot. BCA China Care is seeking to raise money for surgery to correct his foot, which will enable him to walk and run more easily and normally. Click here for more information.

School has started again, and that means Dumplings Playgroups will also begin soon! Please check back here to find out when the next playgroup will be held. Hopefully, we will be able to hold future playgroups in our new cafeteria!

Unfortunately, the re-structuring of the site has left many pages under construction, so please bear with me as they are updated and new features are added. Until that time, feel free to browse around. The site is fully functional, and all important and relevant information have been uploaded and are available for your viewing.
